Spotify is considering a subscription package for podcasts

Spotify has been investing heavily in podcasts for the past few years, and now many top shows are spotlight exclusive. The next step in the strategy seems to be to release a subscription package exclusively for podcast content.

Discovered and shared by Variety’s Andrew Valenstein On Twitter, Spotify expels surveys that ask some of its users how they feel about paying extra for their podcasts – they are now free to listen within Spotify, with ads attached.
