For the first time in 15 years, the new fonts replacing Calibri are Tenorite, Beerstad, Skina, Seaford and Grandview. They were created by various designers for Microsoft. According to the description, Tenorite is a traditional sans-serif typeface with a “warm, warm and friendly style”, while Beerstad is a typeface inspired by Swiss typography of the mid – twentieth century.
Fonts are already available to users of the Microsoft 365 package. The company will collect feedback for five months and then decide which font will become the base font. The changes are scheduled for 2022.
