Green will present folk duo Saratoga on Saturday 22nd October for the final show of the cultural season at Ireland’s Holy Trinity Heritage Site.
For more than five years and hundreds of concerts, Saratoga has watched the fire of intimate music and stripped away the art form of song. From main stages to intimate concerts, Chantal Archambault and Michel-Olivier Gasse quickly won the hearts of audiences across the province. Her debut feature film Fleur was released in 2016 to critical acclaim, earning her two ADISQ nominations, including “Revelation of the Year”. With Saratoga’s sensitive universe unfolding in all its bounty on stage, the couple toured Quebec and Europe for more than 150 dates. After a brief hiatus in 2018, the duo return with a sweet and kind second album, and it’s a beloved item.
For Verte Ireland’s Aud Fournier, the show will close the 2022 cultural season “with the slowness, beauty and kindness that autumn inspires us. Feel-good words, evocative music, this is what Saratoga has in store for us on October 22.”
In fact, Green Ireland events are always wrapped with a community touch, with a campfire outside and a break that encourages encounters.
