– Albrecht Dറrer Airport Nuremberg has two tough years behind it. The number of passengers decreased due to the epidemic. A new foundation must now be inspired.

After several difficulties caused by the pandemic, Albrecht Dർrer Airport is looking at things again in Nuremberg: two machines from the Irish airline Ryanair are now stationed at the airport.

“Ryanair is pleased to announce the largest flight schedule for Nuremberg, offering more than 90 weekly flights on 29 routes, including 15 new routes,” said Dara Brady, the airline’s marketing director at the base’s inauguration. The new routes include Dublin, Valencia, Madeira and Chania, the airline said.

According to Ryanair, about 184 million euros will be invested; The increased presence in Nuremberg will create 60 new jobs. “RyunAir’s partnership with Nuremberg will significantly enrich our route network: Mypes says private and business travelers will benefit from a balanced mix of tourist attractions around the Mediterranean, attractive city connections and destinations for family visits in Central and Eastern Europe.”

Strong Mallorca offer

The airport’s press office recently announced that the holiday airline Contor is now flying daily from Nuremberg to Mallorca. Half a million people can fly to the island in the summer; Corendon, Eurowings and Ryanair also offer this connection. According to the airport, up to 46 departures per week are planned for the peak season from May.
