The Russian Foreign Ministry has denied rumors that a spy base will be built in the territory of the Russian embassy in Ireland.

“The reconstruction of the Russian diplomatic mission building complex in Ireland has not been decided for a long time, and it is necessary to improve the working conditions of our diplomatic missions,” the Russian Foreign Ministry told Sputnik.
The Russian Chancellor pointed out that “the small residential mansion where the embassy is located, built more than a century ago, can no longer guarantee the normal functioning of the diplomatic mission.”
