Mark Antony became the first Doppler ganger to appear in the Top of the Popes. The incredible resemblance gave him a major role in the Prince documentaries created by the BBC. Not only does Mark sound like a prince, but he convinces critics and fans alike with a stunning voice that resembles the original. The show features remarkable dance moves, elaborate costumes, sound effects and original video sequences. Stunning live band, Mark Antony and the best dancers perform the best hits of the epic live on stage. This musical dedication to the Prince is the first live concert from London with music by the legendary pop titan.
The prince made his international debut in 1984 with the single and album Purple Rain, and starred in the film of the same name. During his lifetime, he sold more than 100 million records worldwide, winning seven Grammy Awards, the Oscars in 1985 and the Golden Globe Awards in 2007. In 2004 he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Prince was able and powerful to shape an entire decade, to break the boundaries of “black music” and to be a role model for generations of pop musicians to find their own way. To this day he is one of the most respected artists in the world. After concerts in the UK, Ireland and Scotland, which have been praised by the media and the audience alike, the comforting tribute to one of the biggest superstars of the last few decades is now on a major tour of Germany.
