E-wallets through mobile phones are one of the electronic payment methods through which money can be received and transferred, as well as bill payments for various government services such as electricity, gas and water bills.

Four telecommunication companies allow customers to open an electronic wallet in accordance with specific rules and regulations.

Clients can transfer money between different e-wallets and it is not necessary for the same mobile company to be a customer of the bank.

The client must make withdrawals and deposits from his own wallet.

No transactions can be completed without entering the customer’s password.

The password must be at least six digits long and eight digits long.

Do not allow easy numbers like PIN like 111111 or 123456. You must enter a password to open the e-wallet application.

Passwords must be complex (example: eight characters, including letters, numbers, special characters, etc.).

Steps to open an electronic wallet

1- Go to the nearest branch of your mobile company with a valid national number card and a mobile phone line registered in your name.

2- The customer fills in and signs an application to subscribe to the service.

3- The customer will receive a text message with the service activation code and a link to his mobile company’s service application.

4- The customer creates a secret number for the application.

5- After that, the customer has an electronic wallet and can recharge or use the remaining amount in various payment services.

Services that can be paid through e-wallets include charging mobile phone balances, paying telecom, electricity, gas and water bills, and transferring and depositing money to individuals through a mobile phone wallet.
