Jackson State produced four Pro Football Hall of Fame players. Now, it is reported that the Pro Football Hall of Fame will build a football team in Jackson State.

Rashad Milligan Mississippi Clarion Ledger Dion Sanders reports Jackson will be the next coach at State. School not playing by the end of 2020 due to contagion; Decided to start a spring in February.

Santers has never served as an assistant coach or head coach at college or pro level. He is currently co-ordinating the crime against Trinity Christian in Cedar Hill, Texas. His son, Shedur Sanders, is a quarterback of the team that has won three consecutive state championships.

On August 31, Jackson State expelled John Hendrick. Assistant coaches TC Taylor and Otis Ridley have served as interim coaches.

Saunders was sworn in as college head coach in January after failing to become a candidate for a head coaching job in the state of Florida. He recently left the NFL Network to join Barstool Sports following a pay cut.

Walter Peyton, Tackle Jackie Slater, cornerback Lem Barney and linebacker Robert Brazil came to the NFL from Jackson State, each ending in a cantonment.
