MSI claims that Rapid IPS provides a response time that is 4 times faster than standard IPS panel technology. Optics MAG274QRF-QD I appreciate that the ‘quick’ comes from the praised fast response and updated rates. Below you can see the comparison in tablet form with other 27 inch MSI Magline gaming monitors (highlighted in blue).
As you can see, the QD panel seems to help color gamut / accuracy here, in which case the QD monitor measures its stablemates.
The technical feature above includes other important features not mentioned in the list; Low update rate limit of 48Hz, maximum brightness of 300nits, 1000: 1 aspect ratio, low blue light mode, anti-flicker, 5-way OSD controls or various gaming modes that you can use with MSI Gaming OSD application.
