Britain’s Queen Elizabeth is under medical supervision at Balmoral Castle in Scotland, according to a statement from Buckingham Palace.

This is after doctors expressed concern over the Queen’s health.

“After assessing her health this morning, the Queen’s doctors have expressed concern about her health and have recommended that she remain under medical supervision,” Buckingham’s statement said.

The palace added: “The Queen was comfortable at Balmoral Palace.”

The announcement came after the 96-year-old canceled a virtual meeting of her special advisory council on Wednesday following doctors’ advice to rest.

Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall arrived at Balmoral, while Prince Williams, Duke of Cambridge, was on his way to the castle.

The Duke of York and the Earl and Countess of Wessex also traveled to Balmoral, 40 miles west of Aberdeen.

The Queen’s health is clearly a public concern more than ever. There are concerns about difficulties in the Queen’s ability to move and get around.

There are also warnings in the wake of unsubstantiated speculation that the Queen may once have fallen.

On Tuesday, the Queen appeared on her feet and was photographed smiling at the inauguration of the new prime minister.

But the last-minute cancellation of a meeting of the Special Advisory Committee, which includes senior ministers, undoubtedly underscores the fragility of the Queen’s health.

The ceremony to appoint the Queen as the new Prime Minister was held at Balmoral instead of going to London.

The Queen has been spending her summer holidays at home in Scotland since July.

British Prime Minister Liz Truss said in a tweet on Twitter that “the whole country” would be “deeply concerned” by the news.

“My thoughts and those of everyone across the UK are with Her Majesty and her family at this time,” she added.

Opposition and Labor leader Sir Keir Starmer said he was deeply concerned by the news about the Queen’s health.

Scotland’s First Minister Nicola Sturgeon also expressed her “grave concern” and wished the Queen well.
