International fashion retailer Primark will open the doors to its new and much-anticipated store in Cheetah on Tuesday 19 July. Located within the Megalo shopping centre, the store is the first on the Adriatic coast and will represent Primark’s 10th store in Italy and will create over 150 new jobs.

The new Cheetah store will offer the in-store experience that the Primark brand has always been renowned for, spanning nearly 4,000 square meters of commercial space. In fact, many customers already have high expectations who can’t wait to visit the new store to shop the latest trends and basics from the men’s, women’s, kids’, beauty, lifestyle and homewear collections. The Chieti store will offer a wide range of apparel products and items from the ‘Primark Cares’ brand in a continuous expansion. In fact, 39% of Primark clothing is currently made from recycled materials or more sustainable sources, as part of the retailer’s ambitious journey to make sustainable fashion affordable for everyone. The new store will also have a dedicated area with the latest additions that form part of Primark’s ever-growing sustainable denim collection.

The opening is a major milestone in Primark’s ongoing expansion in the country. “Following the opening of our flagship store and Italian headquarters in Milan, the new store inside the Megalo shopping center in Chieti is a real milestone in our expansion path in Italy,” says Luca Ciuffreda, head of Primark in Italy. This new store temporarily follows the recent opening of Italy’s new flagship store and headquarters on Via Torino in Milan, as well as openings in Rome and Catania last year. In fact, Italian consumers will open four additional new stores in the next 12 months: Bologna and Turin opening in the summer at the Shopville Le Gru shopping center, and by the end of the year, in Venice and Caserta. ., inside the Nave De Vero shopping center at 2023.
