Portugal slams United kingdom final decision to depart it off quarantine checklist as ‘absurd’

(CNN) — The Portuguese authorities has denounced the British government’s selection not to carry quarantine for men and women traveling from mainland Portugal as “absurd” and “senseless,” indicating the British isles has 7 instances a lot more coronavirus cases than it does.

Augusto Santos Silva, the country’s Minister of Overseas Affairs, said Portugal was “incredibly upset” to have been excluded from a list of countries from which tourists will be exempt from expending two weeks in isolation just after arriving in England.
