PGA: Peloton captures the leading group

The lead of American Justin Thomas and Spaniard John Rahm in the first round of the Northern Trust tournament melted like snow in the sun during the second day ‘s activities in Jersey City on Thursday, but managed to retain his place in the second.

In the second ontting of the Liberty National Course, Rahman handled four clear birds to issue a 68 (-4) card. Thanks to a cumulative score of 130 (-12), he can be proud of being able to start the weekend rounds from the top of the standings.
