Passengers rebel, kick the plane window and are arrested

A man has been arrested and deported to Pakistan for kicking the window of a plane flying between the Pakistani city of Pexwar in the United Arab Emirates and Dubai. According to local newspaper Dawn, the passenger was on a Pakistan International Airlines flight and was detained by authorities at Dubai airport for “unpredictable behaviour”.

As soon as the plane took off, the passenger started asking the crew to let him off the plane, the publication said. At one point, he began to lie down in the hallway and pray, but was taken away by company employees. He then punched and kicked seats and damaged a window, causing panic among passengers.

Pictures of the incident are circulating on social media and the flight attendant tries to calm down the passenger. Before crashing through the window, the passenger appears in an argument with the staff.

A man’s voice appears in the background stating that the passenger is “fine” during boarding. “Right after take off, he started behaving like this,” he says in English.

On arrival in Dubai, the crew escorted the passenger to the exit and local authorities informed the company. area A team was sent to take him back to Pakistan.

According to the publication, the passenger’s hands and feet should have been tied in accordance with aviation procedures.
