A passenger was taken off a Ryanair flight at a London airport following receiving a textual content expressing he tested beneficial for coronavirus.
The passenger, who has not been determined, and his vacation companion were on a flight to Pisa, Italy, from London Stansted airport on Wednesday when he acquired the textual content concept just before departure.
Ryanair reported in a statement that they have been both of those seated for only 10 minutes in advance of they ended up taken off the plane and taken to an isolation spot at the airport.
The flight to Pisa went forward following a hold off of one hour and 20 minutes when seats and overhead cabins were disinfected.
Ryanair stated in its assertion: “Since this passenger and his companion had complied absolutely with Ryanair health and fitness restrictions, they have been both carrying masks at all times at Stansted Airport and for the extremely short interval – much less than 10 minutes – they were seated on the plane prior to departure.
“There was minor if any danger of Covid-19 transmission to other travellers or crew customers as all of whom ended up also donning deal with masks at all instances.
