Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor have been trading insults on social media for three years since their Las Vegas showdown.
The loser Mayweather, 43, responded to a call-to from YouTuber and celebrity boxer Logan Paul:
“3 years ago a fighter from the UFC mentioned my name, and that b *** m. Og Loganpol I can get the same treatment before conquering Japan again. “
UFC Ace McGregor responded to an American fighter’s tweet with a dog emoji.
Meanwhile, Dubliner’s fight with Dustin Porier was confirmed on January 23rd.
Both fighters signed contracts for a 155 – pound featherweight division – six years later defeating McGregor Poirier in the 145 pound featherweight division.
UFC boss Dana White has confirmed this week that he will host the Abu Dhabi fight as he returns to the infamous cage one more year after his victory over Donald Seron in Las Vegas.
“I’m so grateful to be back and to do what I love again,” McGregor said recently.
“I look forward to Dustin’s new experiment after our first match, while also showcasing my own incredibly deep arsenal. Any equipment needed at night will be pulled from the duffel.
I am excited to help Dustin’s charity The Good Fight Foundation, which, through its donations, will build a gym / environment for the homeless youth of their homeland.
“I really like it, and vow to match my childhood contribution to the hometown! A spot for the upcoming competition.”
