Engineer Nazmi Al-Nasser, CEO of the “NEOM” project, said that there will be a flying taxi for transportation in the region as work is underway to develop the first environmentally friendly system based on aviation.
Al-Nasr explained at the Saudi Green Initiative Forum that 15 helicopters were actually used in Neom, which is helping the region achieve its goals, and work is underway to provide renewable water sources for commercial and industrial consumption.
He noted that in addition to the existence of an industrial city to accelerate the exchange of solutions, NEOM witnessed the establishment of the first center for the development of clean energy and green hydrogen, focusing on innovation and research to protect natural reserves and the environment. and technology.
He pointed out that work will be done to improve the infrastructure of “The Line”; 10 million people occupy only 5% of its land area, indicating that this population density is equivalent to the population of London and New York.
