ITC’s new solar power plant in Dindigul district covers an area of ​​about 59 acres and can generate 22.2 crore units of electricity per annum.

ITC hopes that this will complement the electric saree of ITC Hotel, Food Manufacturing Factory, Paper Manufacturing Factory and Printing and Packaging Factory in Tamil Nadu.

According to ITC, 138 MW of wind power, 14 MW of solar power plants and 53 MW of solar power plants are being developed in the renewable energy segment.

So far, ITC has invested around Rs 1,000 crore in renewable energy generation.

With an investment of `1000 crore, ITC has 20 factories, 9 hotels and 6 office buildings in Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Bihar, Haryana, West Bengal and Punjab.
