After Disney’s acquisition of 20th Century Fox, plans to bring the company’s characters to MCU were quickly revealed. These plans are now gaining strength. A third Deadpool film is already in the works, and Professor X from X-Men is currently starring in Doctor Strange in the Multiverses of Madness in German cinemas.
A “Fantastic Four” movie is also planned to introduce the heroes named to the MCU. “Spider-Man: No Way Home” director John Watts had previously planned for this, but he has now said goodbye to the MCU. According to Watts, working at MCU for the past seven years is an honor. He wants to work with Marvel again one day.
But now, WhatsApp has moved away from the superhero category and is building a gangster thriller for Apple TV +. With Brad Pitt and George Clooney in the lead roles, the film will still be the new flagship project of the youth streaming service. Now a prominent director is completing the team.
It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post. Although not all the films have been announced yet, the film is yet to reach the theaters. With Marvel Starts scheduled for 2024, the film has only a few years left.
