(Teleborsa) – Eni gave a new one License Of Exploration Production in the British North Sea as a result of a competitive tender known as the 32nd UK Offshore Licensing Round. The news is provided by an Italian oil company.
The license P2511 covers an area of approximately 340 square kilometers North Sea 250 km north of the coast at depths of 100 to 130 m. The area is located close to the border between British and Norwegian waters, where several hydrocarbon discoveries have been made recently.
One for the license Exploration period For the initial six years and 100% participation interest, Eni was assigned to the UK with the role of operator. “By participating in the license, I renew my commitment to augment the resources of the British Territory of the North Sea, which I have long operated on,” the note reads.
Eni has been present in the UK since 1964 and has been active in exploration and production 55 KboedIn Gas & Power, Refining, Marketing and Chemicals. I also got the license in October 2020 Storage Of Carbon dioxide Offshore in Liverpool Bay, east of the Irish Sea.
