Seen from elsewhere – Previously, American managers rarely spoke on political issues. Now they are engaged in a cultural battle between left and right. Netflix, for example, has taken a clear stand. Others follow suit. But those who take sides in this way must also expect financial consequences.

April 20 is a dark date for Netflix. On that day, the streaming service announced that its subscriber numbers fell in the first quarter. It hasn’t happened in ten years. Platform co-director Reid Hastings blamed the decline in sharing passwords among friends and family.
