The Swiss, coached by Elias Papatheodorou, are still looking good after their second defeat to advance to the second group stage of qualification as group winners or top four runners-up. They still need a win in their final group game against Ireland next Sunday. The Swiss traded a decisive loss in Nicosia at 6:11 in the third quarter of the game. Playmaker Jonathan Cassady was the Swiss team’s longest presence with 34:45 minutes. He scored 17 points.
