Millavu. Marguerite Marie School in the colors of Ireland

Published on

In conjunction with St. Patrick’s Day, this year’s Marguerite Marie de Millau School took students to Ireland from March 15 to 20.

Every day we learned a character of this country and spoke a little more English than usual! This week, our students learned to discover the island on its map, in its capital, and to learn the colors of its flag, the clover emblem, and its praise.

We talked about the traditions of this country, and some legends about its famous greenery, Leprechauns. Through the videos, students discovered Celtic dances and music, learned a song and made handicrafts.

Discovering the world, we discovered the treasures of Ireland: its lush green landscapes, long beaches, megaliths Unfortunately, we had to cancel the preparation of a tea time.

Friday ended with a photo of students in colorful costumes playing the game.

Everyone is proud to pose in the photo and play with their paint hats all week. Photo montage brings together all children wearing one of the three colors of the Irish flag in green, white or orange. Each class wrote a letter to write the iron!
