Mental Health: How emotionally does the series deal with the subject of mental health?
Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety, Schizophrenia, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder: More and more people are suffering from mental health problems which make daily life and happy life difficult. But there is still a stigma attached to the issue of mental health, which prevents many patients from seeking help or talking about how dark they are inside.
It is important that entertainment media create role models for the mentally ill; In addition, they tell inspiring and dynamic stories of fighting these diseases. Unlike many Hollywood movies, Mental Illness is used for beautiful plot twists (“A Beautiful Mind,” “Twilight,” or “Identity”, to name a few), and all 13 series on our list deal with mental illness.
