President Trump had a surprise guest at his last campaign rally on Monday night – 20-year-old rapper and recently Maga supporter Lynn Pump. However, when introduced to the crowd, Trump mistakenly called the “Gucci Gang” rapper “Little Pimp.”
Trump ended his 2020 election campaign with a late-night rally at Mich Grand Rapids, which went on the eve of Election Day. At the event, he invited Lynn Pump to the stage and spoke briefly to the crowd of supporters.
“Little Pimp, one of the biggest superstars in the world when it comes to sound, music and other things,” Trump joked before correcting himself. “She is OK. how’s it going? Do you have anything to say? Come on, little pump, come here. ”
The young rapper announced his support for Trump on Sunday after Joe Biden’s tax plan on rich people collapsed.
“Does everyone know who he is? Do you know how big he is? Trump asked his audience, accepting cheers that could be dwarfed compared to the concert audience.
“Hello everyone, how do you feel?” Said Lynn Pump on stage wearing the Maga hat. “Mr. President, I appreciate everything you have done for our country. You brought the army home and you are doing the right thing. Maga 20/20/20. Don’t forget that! Don’t vote for Sleepy Joy! ”
Lynn Pump went viral with her 2017 song “Gucci Gang”, which peaked at number three on the Billboard Hot 100 and went platinum. But later music and his 2019 album “Harvard Drop Out” did not see the same success.
He is also the latest rapper to show support for Trump, along with Lynn Wayne and 50 Cent, a setback among fans.
Meanwhile, at a rally for Biden, singer John Legend called on the artists to refer to Jordan Peele’s 2017 film “Get.”
“Some of your former favorite rappers accepted these lies,” Legend continued. “I think they formed a new supergroup called Sunken Place.”
