The Reds’ star summer signing has not been featured since his injury in the Merseyside derby in October and is now expected to be out until the New Year with a knee injury in the challenge of Everton’s Richardson.

Captain Jordan Henderson has returned to the Amex following an injury. Liverpool are looking to avoid defeat on Tuesday and qualify for the last 16 of the elite club competition in Europe.
