Study in Europe, The first European Higher Education Fair in Singapore, organized by the European Union (EU) delegation in Singapore, presents its 15th edition on Saturday, September 25, 2021 on its digital platform.
The second digital fair is attended by 21 European countries and more than 250 universities Study in Europe In Singapore. Together they present a wide variety of learning programs and opportunities available across Europe on a single digital platform.

According to Ivona Pirco, EU Ambassador to Singapore The Fifteenth Edition of the Study in Europe takes place at an extraordinary time in our history. Kovid-19 continues to affect everyone around the world. In view of this, we have reorganized our major public diplomatic initiatives in the European Union in Singapore. The presentation of “Learning in Europe” as a fully digital fair underscores the EU’s commitment to higher education in this unprecedented era. ⁇

The participation of countries and universities has increased
The 21 European countries represented at the fair are: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania and Romania.
They bring together more than 250 universities on a single digital platform.
The fair connects undergraduate and postgraduate students in Singapore with universities in these countries, providing students with information about educational institutions, the application process, student life, details of various scholarship opportunities, and the various universities that teach classes in English.
Webinars
The show’s digital platform offers Singapore-based students the opportunity to attend approximately 30 webinar sessions. Students will interact with academic advisors and academic representatives from participating European countries to learn more about the learning options available in Europe. Webinar sessions include life in Europe and adaptation to European cultures, the university application process, and an overview of specific university courses for gaining global expertise through overseas travel and study.
ERASMUS + and other EU programs
Study in Europe Highlights and promotes EU educational programs such as Erasmus +, SHARE and EURAXESS.
2021 marks the 34th year of Erasmus +, the European Union’s Student Exchange Program, which allows university students to study or do internships in a European country. It gives students the opportunity to expand their horizons by exploring European cultures and discovering Europe. Erasmus + funding includes support for education and training for employees and young workers, as well as partnerships between universities, colleges, schools, businesses, and non-profit organizations. Erasmus + Diaries | European travel Students will be given an in-depth overview of the program at a European course organized in the form of a conversation between Adrian Wheel, Policy Officer, European Commission, and Mertis Ho, Representative of the European Union in Singapore.
To Study in EuropeStudents can also learn more about SHARE, the ASEAN-EU project that supports higher education in the ASEAN region. With EU funding, the share promotes the movement of students in the ASEAN region. With a funding of 10 10 million, ASEAN students have already been awarded 400 scholarships to study in other ASEAN countries, repeating the Erasmus + Intra-EU Scholarship Program. At the show, SHARE will present the Share Program: Intra-ASEAN Student Exchange Grants.
For the first time, Study in Europe This will include the participation of EURAXESS, a platform for researchers, entrepreneurs, universities and businesses to interact. EURAXESS – A webinar entitled Your Gateway to European Research. How to make a funded PhD in Europe: A round table with PhD students in Singapore will be presented at the fair. EURAXESS connects ASEAN researchers to Europe through a research portal, providing a wealth of information and support services for researchers seeking to study, work or stay in touch with Europe.

About the EU Representative in Singapore
Founded in December 2002, the EU Representative in Singapore officially opened on 30 June 2004. The EU diplomat then worked to promote closer ties between the European Union and Singapore. The broader relationship has grown stronger over the years. In close coordination with the diplomatic missions of the EU member states, the delegation will ensure the coherence and effectiveness of the EU’s external work in Singapore.
The European Union, with 27 countries, more than 450 million people and the world’s largest GDP, has been growing since Singapore and ASEAN, especially since the free treaty came into force. On November 21st. 2019.
The delegation covers a wide range of topics including trade, foreign policy, climate change, environment, transport, industrial policy, research, science and technology.
In the field of public diplomacy, the delegation presented the Higher Education Fair “Learning in Europe” for 15 consecutive years. During these extraordinary times, in the cultural arena, with the support of the participating countries, the European Union in Singapore presented the historic thirtieth edition of the European Film Festival (EUFF) on Independent Cinema Space the Projector.
