The League of Nations continued this Sunday. In the evening, Portugal clearly dominated the Czech Republic (4-0), thanks to the double goals of Dalot (33, 52), Fernandez (45 + 2) and Jota (82). Holder, Ronaldo didn’t score and Ronaldo had a good scare in his confrontation with the opposing goalkeeper (see short film at 9:37pm), but the Mancunian was the crucial passer for the fourth goal. With the three points, Spain moved two lengths clear in Group 2 of the Portuguese League A, having stunned Switzerland at home (1-2). Alba (55) answered Akanji (21) but Monaco striker Mbolo (58) put the Swiss in front. Portugal and Spain will meet in the final four qualifiers on Tuesday.

In other results of the day, Serbia dominated Sweden (4-1), Slovenia upset Norway (2-1), Northern Ireland defeated Kosovo (2-1), Israel advanced to the league thanks to a win over Albania (2-1), and Cyprus stunned Greece ( 1-0). Finally, Scotland won against Ireland (2-1) and stayed ahead of Ukraine, who overturned Armenia (5-0).
