Boega Resigned After being cut from the Chinese version of an ad, Joe Malone became the company’s global ambassador to help build the retreat.
MS Malone sold its business to ST loader companies in 1999.
Speaking to Lorraine on ITV, she said: “I’m scared and hate what I did to John …
“It’s gone global, my name is associated with it. It’s done in my name, but people think it’s me.”
“How does someone treat him (like that), does he find out that he’s been replaced on social media? … they never talked to him … it’s absolutely disgusting and disgusting to me.”
On September 15, Boega announced that he would step down from his role with the Joe Malone brand.
He tweeted: “My decision to replace my campaign in China with my ideas made me replace a local brand ambassador without my consent or advance notice.
“This film celebrates my personal story – including my friends showcasing my hometown and presenting my family.
“While many brands can understand global and local ambassadors, rejecting one’s culture is not something I can forgive.”
He added: “It’s coming back, but I assure you it will be handled quickly. I do not have time for foolishness. We are strong and powerful. Blessed people continue.”
