The British singer has been admitted to hospital for treatment following a house invasion by a group of four on the outskirts of London.

The singer, 33, who shares a house with his wife Chloe and their two children, was shot in the face by an unknown object and hospitalized for treatment, Britain’s The Sun newspaper reported.

Chloe, 32, was threatened with a knife during the attack. The group of four fled the couple’s home with $ 2 million ($ 1.5 million) worth of belongings.

A spokesman for the “Beat Again” star told The Sun, “The family is all safe and secure, and home security has been increased,” and the family escaped unharmed.

“It was a scary incident. JB sprayed him in the face and the gang threatened Chloe with a knife,” a source added. “He wanted to protect her and their children, but the best way to do that was to work with the team.”

It is believed that the police officials informed the National Crime Agency amid fears that the attack may have been the work of an organized crime group targeting locals in the area.

After the split of JLS in 2013, JB Gill moved to the countryside. He bought 11 acres of land on the outskirts of London and engaged in farming.
