Italy and Ireland will play in Dublin.

Six Nations Women’s Tournament Italy Ireland prepare to play in Dublin after Italy agreed to give up the advantage of the pitch to ensure a smooth run of the match.

It was originally scheduled to take place at Le Lanfranchy Stadium ParmaThe competition will take place on Saturday 24 April at Energy Park (also known as Donnie Brook Park) in Dublin, with Italy flying to Ireland to take part in the competition. The kick-off is set for 12 at 13 local time in Italy as originally planned, with live coverage on Eurosport 2.

The inversion of the field was defined as the Irish national team not being able to cope with the two-week period of isolation when they returned from Italy.

“We sincerely thank FIR and the Italian women’s national team for welcoming this important project change. We look forward to playing away from home in Ireland rather than playing at home. Italy and Ireland have played some of the best rugby in the tournament. .
