The ministry added that there are currently restrictions on those traveling from Brazil.
People entering Italy from the now liberated countries are subject to a five-day embargo, compulsory inspection and arrival before the end of the isolation period.
The ministry said in a statement that a negative test of Kovid-19 conducted before the trip was still needed.
Vaccination selection at the beginning of the month
The Italian Football Federation (FIGC) has announced that Italian footballers who have been called up for the Euro Cup will receive the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine in early May.
The Supreme Court, which is responsible for the country’s health crisis, has “granted preferential vaccination to players who are part of the Italian football team’s delegation to the European tournament in June,” the FIGC said.
Half of the 35 players prepared in advance by coach Roberto Mancini to join the Sardinia team, which starts on May 24, have been vaccinated in Milan, while the rest are in Rome. They received the vaccine, which was developed by Pfizer Laboratory in partnership with Biotech. The members of the technical committee will be vaccinated at another time.
