According to the Central Statistics Office in Dublin, Ireland’s GDP grew by 11.8 per cent per annum in the first quarter of 2021, followed by a 1.5 per cent increase in the last quarter of 2020 (8.7 per cent in the third quarter).

On a continuous basis, the Irish economy grew by 7.8 per cent in the fourth quarter against a contraction of 4.4 per cent (11.8 per cent in the third).
