Fossil has launched a new range of affordable smartwatches called the General 5E. The new smart watches are easy to pocket and come in different sizes. Fossil introduced the new 42mm dial size and 44mm dial size with the Gen5E series. The Smart Watch 9 249 is available in the United States. Fossil has not disclosed whether it plans to launch the smartwatch in other markets as well.

Gen 5E smartwatch can be worn by both men and women. It comes in four 42mm and three 44mm dial sizes. It also comes in fun color options ranging from rose gold to classic black, which will perfectly compliment your outfit. So let’s take a look at some of the key features of Gen 5E smartwatches.

Gen 5E Smart Watch Features and Specifications

General SE comes in two different dial sizes. The 42mm smartwatch has a 1.19-inch round AMOLED display with 390 x 390p and 328pp resolution. Inside the small dial, there is a 300mAh battery that runs the show. General SE is Google’s WareOS with Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 OS that comes with the processor. It is paired with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage.

Moving on to the design, the 42mm dial comes in stainless steel and also has a gold finish. It has an 18mm wrist strap attached to it. Users can choose from a number of bands, including a stainless steel bracelet, a silicone strap and a mesh band. The 44mm case size comes with a 22mm wrist strap. However, with this particular dial size, you can get a stainless steel bracelet or leather strap.

In terms of connectivity, the Fossil Smartwatch supports Bluetooth 4.2 LE, NFC and WiFi. It has an accelerometer, PPG heart rate sensor and more. Rated Gen 5E 5 ATM Water Resistance.
