Simon Easterby is Ireland's new interim manager. He replaces Andy Farrell who left the British Lions. The current Irish defense coach will return to his post on December 1 and will be in charge of the 6 Nations and summer tour.
Ireland will soon have a new coach. At least temporarily. Indeed, from December 1, Simon Easterby will become the head of the XV du Trèfle. He will take up a temporary position following the Irish summer tour.

He replaces current coach Andy Farrell. English opener Owen's father will be away from his responsibilities for several months. Q. British Lions tour against Australia. Thirteen former players will headline this selection as they look to bounce back from a lost 2021 tour to the home of the two-time South African world champions.

Simon Easterby is no newcomer to the Irish staff. The former third row is currently in charge of the Irish defence. He has also been in charge of the Irish forwards since 2014 under Joe Schmidt. This will be his first stint as a head coach, whether at club or national level.
