7. If you close the app, choose how fast the app will ask you to re-enter the Face ID, and you can choose immediately after one minute or 30 minutes.

You can lock WhatsApp on your iPhone with Face ID or Touch ID depending on the version of the phone you have, the process is the same no matter which iPhone you use.

1. Launch WhatsApp on your iPhone.

5. At the bottom of the screen, tap on the lock screen.

6. On the lock screen page, you will see that you need the required Face ID or Touch ID and drag the button to the right to turn on this security feature.

7. Choose how fast the app asks you to re-enter your Face ID, and if you close it, you can choose 1 minute later, 15 minutes later or 1 hour later.
