A concert by the Cauldron Quartet took place on Sunday afternoon, which exposed the public to a portion of their repertoire in a warm atmosphere. The atmosphere was exhausted.
We could feel the excitement in the testimonials that followed, “It was great, the dancing was flawless, they played great classics of traditional Irish music and more.”
“I want to come back”
“It was great, I enjoyed myself, Loic and Steffy’s stories and humour, it was lovely” underlines Corinne. “Super, awesome, an escape to Ireland and Scotland, we were really there, a lovely trip with Cauldron” commented Mary-Morgan. “It was great, we went to a volcano with them, Steffi was very beautiful, she danced well and Loic was one with his violin” says Marie-Pierre.
Fiddler Loy of the troupe “had a lot of people, the public was wise, and I noticed that when the first Prisoner came out I felt the quality of listening, and the public knew how to appreciate”. Élie the double bassist explains: “It’s a pleasure to play in a room like this, an attentive and receptive audience, and we’ve had a good reception with very friendly people”. Singer Steffi adds, “It’s an opportunity to play close to home and in an intimate venue with a good audience capacity, we’re more used to playing in pubs with a different atmosphere and would love to return to Saint-Jean to perform Giant. Show in Celtic Mythology…”
