Elon Musk said he had a mild case of COVID-19 as he continued to question the accuracy of the tests.
“I get completely different results from different labs, but most likely I have a mild case of Kovid. My symptoms are a minor cold, not surprisingly, because a corona virus is a kind of cold.” Mr. Musk Tweeted.
Tesla and SpaceXBoss did not specify whether the results were from more accurate polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests than rapid tests.
“Slightly up and down. Sounds like a common cold, but more body aches and cloudy head than cough / sneeze,” Musk wrote in response to a Twitter user asking about his symptoms.
Musk said Thursday that he had performed four Covid-19 tests on the same day, two of which proved positive for the virus, and two returned negative, saying “something extremely fake is going on.”
He said he was tested with a quick antigen test, and warned that he was more likely to give false instructions.
Musk’s presence in the launch of four NASA astronauts into orbit on his SpaceX spacecraft was questioned by the Kovid-19 test.
The U.S. space agency says NASA’s first manned mission using a privately owned spacecraft has been missed due to high winds forecast for Florida from Saturday to Sunday evening.
