Ilke Gundogan admits Manchester City players feel busy schedule after getting a schedule West Brom 1-1 draw Tuesday night.
Pep Guardiola’s side seem to be slow to move forward again, having 26 shots and their lack of cutting edge proved valuable, but only managed to score seven to reach the goal.
West Brom goalkeepers Sam Johnston saved crucial time from Gundogan and Raheem Sterling.

The result leaves City with 20 points from 12 games, with only 18 league goals scored in the campaign, far from the best of their regular free-flowing.
With Guardiola’s team trying to play catch-up every season due to the Champions League commitment in August, Gundogan commented that the lack of a break was part of the problem.
“It is almost impossible to include and dominate a team at the top, especially with the schedule coming up,” Germany International said.
Every team in Europe is constantly striving to win games. But we have responsibilities and must win these kinds of games, especially at home.
“We are human beings, not machines, and we are struggling. This will not be easy in the next few weeks. ”
Gundogan opened the scoring half an hour later, but what was City’s first clear chance from the open play, but West Brom equalized two minutes before the break. Ruben Diaz inadvertently overcame a semi-final shot from Ederson.
It was the first goal conceded by City in 608 minutes in all competitions, and Johnston proved to be costly as he delayed them.
“We should have won that game, but now we can not change that,” Gundogan added. “We could have done better, but it was not intended.
“We can complain, but we cannot change it, and we must accept it. We must look forward. We deserve more, we have opportunities. I do not know what to say, getting a point is frustrating. We have to win games like this. ”
City entered the game after criticizing pedestrian performance in the goalless Manchester derby on Saturday, starting a little too early on home turf against a year with the worst defensive record in the league.
But Guardiola changed the way West Brom established against them.
“The players are there,” he said. “We scored a goal.
“We struggled for this game with long balls and second balls.
“They attacked to our left, and we could not control it with Benjamin (Mendy) and Phil (Foden).
“Sometimes you need patience, we tried to find it, but it was not easy. The second half was great but we could not score.
“Ten players defend, it’s not easy.”
Next up on Saturday is a trip to Southampton, one of the top teams in the league, and Guardiola admits he is focused on that game.
“It was an important week and it was not right to score three points,” he said.
“It simply came to our notice then. This is no secret. This is a strange situation for many reasons. We will go to Southampton and try to make a good game. ”
