Both the payment app companies are constantly improving the features for their users. Now a new feature has been added. Paytm and Google Pay users can split their bills and pay each part of the bill separately. It will also have an auto option, in which the full amount will be distributed evenly over the contact. Below are the step-by-step options for splitting bills in Google Pay and Paytm.
How to use the new feature of Google Pay?
Open Google Pay and click on the New Payment option.
A new screen will open. The ‘New Group’ option will appear under the ‘Transfer Money’ tab on this screen.
After clicking on the ‘New Group’ option, a new screen will appear showing all the contact numbers and names.
On this screen, you can add the contact person to the group you want to share the bill with.
On the next screen you will be asked to name the group.
After creating the group, users will see a ‘Split on Expense’ button on the boat.
When you want to divide the amount, it can either be divided equally among the members of the group or you can set the amount according to which contact person should be paid.
At this point, if no one in the group wants to pay the bill, you can uncheck it.
After setting the parameters, click on ‘Send Request’ and the payment request will be sent.
Group members can track on the group’s main screen whether they have paid or not.
This option for Paytm
After opening the Paytm app, users need to swipe right and go to the talk page.
The ‘Split Bill’ option appears at the bottom of the app.
When it is clipped, a new page will appear, with the option to split the amount and select the contact person.
On the same page, users can select Auto Split, in which the same amount will be distributed to all contact persons.
Additionally, users can choose the amount to pay per person.
Once selected, a payment request will be sent.
Clicking on the amount on the main page of the group will take you to the split information.
In addition, you can see which contact person paid.
