Two girls in Canada have been filmed attacking protesters with a hockey adhere at a Black and Indigenous Life Issue rally on Saturday.
Winnipeg law enforcement said they are investigating the assault on a black gentleman andn a indigenous woman at the protest outside the Manitoba Legislature grounds, in accordance to the Winnipeg Sunshine.
A person of the victims, Theo Landry, 29, reported that he and his buddy had been targeted by the girls in a car or truck — one of whom was white — following he briefly laid down in the highway.
“What transpired on July 4, I was saddened but not surprised,” he advised the newspaper.
There were being 4 men and women inside of the vehicle when it stopped and its occupants allegedly yelled racial slurs at Landry.
He informed the paper that someone inside of explained if he “continued to protest he would get harm.”
Landry explained soon after he and the lady got up and retreated to the other protesters, the car drove back to them and he sprayed drinking water on its windshield — prompting the car or truck to quit.
Which is when a white lady exits, in accordance to 1 video circulating online that purports to present the incident, and chases right after Landry and his friend.
Landry mentioned he was struck two times on the arm by the first woman.
