France Team - Euro U19: France in action against Ireland

The Blues take on Ireland for the first Test of this Euro U19.

The Irish got off to a good start, losing only 6-0 to the English in the first game. But France’s start was just as good in the first game after an early chance with great defending, Maxence Barbet breaking over the line for the first try of the game. Thomas Monclus 6-0.

The Irish had their heads under water and the Tricolors were advancing down the stretch and Theo Fook found his side’s second try from a great pass from Luis Grosemi. 12-0 with the conversion. A sloppy pass by Habbs and a penalty brought Ireland back into the game and put them on top, but it was well defended by the Blues.

The French face a lot of penalties in this match, but their superiority over the Irish allows them to control the debate despite everything.
