France, Ireland and England. Who liked the title? – OA Sport

The third day of the Guinness Book of World Records 2022 is over and the tournament is halfway done., Only two shifts left before entering the title. Three teams remain in the race for the final victory France, Ireland and England are in the top three. But who is the title favorite, and what challenges will be crucial between now and the final whistle?

France are unbeaten with three wins and 14 points in the standings. A treasure trove of three pointsIreland are second with 11 points. With the winning Blues and the two teams that have already met on the second day in Paris. England are third with 10 pointsTip not only on the race for the crown, but also on the scales of the tournament.

In fact, Eddie Jones’ boys have never met two direct rivals In the next two rounds they will first host Ireland and then end the tournament with a super match against France in Paris. And, after all, these two matches will go through. Whoever wins between England and Ireland on March 12 will continue to race for the title and will be eliminated if anyone loses (France do not fall against Wales in Cardiff, virtually everyone is lined up).

Theoretically, the tournament would end in the fourth round. If France wins Wales with a bonus it will rise to 19 points, and if England and Ireland draw without a bonus point for the Irish they will reach a maximum of 13 points, no longer reaching the Blues. Remote hypothesis, therefore, is almost certain that the games will be decided on Super Saturday.

As mentioned, the France-England matches will take place. If the British win against Ireland, the final match of the tournament will be a direct and decisive battle between the two contenders for the title. If Ireland win at Twickenham, England will be on the cusp of a draw in the tournament, able to block an ensemble and team-mates, while Ireland still have to win at home with Scotland.
