Chinese company Xiaomi has released the standard version of MIUI 12.5 on four popular smartphones. This update received two models from 2019 and two devices from last year. Now let’s talk about this in more detail.
Initially, MIUI 12.5 stable ROM was released for the Indian smartphone POCO X2 and the Chinese Redmi 10X 4G. The latest model is the Chinese version of the Redmi Note 9. This means that the global firmware will be released soon.
The Poco X2 is equipped with a Snapdragon 730G processor, 120Hz LCD and a 64MP main camera. The Redmi 10X4G is not much different from the Redmi Note 9. The important thing to note is the lack of support for near field communication technology. In both cases, the software is based on the Android 11 operating system.
Now let’s talk about the things that interest the home user the most. Residents of Ukraine can already install the global version of MIUI 12.5 for the Redmi Note 7 smartphone, the first Redmi model from a free brand. The shell is built on Android 10, which is the latest major update.
The Redmi Note 7 is powered by a Snapdragon 660 processor. The battery capacity is 4000 mAh. The onboard has a 48MP main camera and an LCD display with a 13MP selfie camera cutout.
Finally, in Ukraine, the European firmware is already available for the Xiaomi Mi 9, the flagship Snapdragon 855 single-chip system from two years ago. The model is equipped with a main camera with 48MP + 16MP + 12MP resolution.
The 3,300 mAh battery supports 27W wired fast charging and 20W wireless charging. Stability with MIUI 12.5 Android 11 is probably the last major update to the flagship in 2019.
