Google will show you recommendations from experts in beauty, clothing, home and gardening, Discover Feed and Google Shopping. According to a report, Google Discover Feed has been upgraded with the must-see carousel, which allows streaming, buying and more. Additionally, Google seeks to make it easier for users to shop for cosmetics by helping them visualize makeup and try on products effectively.
The search giant said it wants to bring some of the benefits of in-store shopping on their phones as it is difficult to make decisions on such individual items. Announcing Google says it is working with data partners Modiface and Perfect Corporation to help users visualize different lipstick and eyeshadow shades. Users can also effectively test makeup products from the Google app.
Cosmetics available for this feature are available from brands such as L’Oreal, Mac Cosmetics, Black Opal and Charlotte Tilbury. Now when users search for a particular lipstick or eyeshadow, Google says they can see what’s in a range by comparing skin tones, shades and textures. With the carousel above you can switch between different faces and between the lipstick or eyeshadow shades that appear at the bottom of the screen.
Google will show you recommendations from beauty, clothing, home, garden lovers and experts when you browse through the Discover feed in the Google app or Google Shopping. According to Google, experts will talk about why they like a particular product and how they use it.
At the same time, the Google Discover feed also gets a ‘what to watch’ carousel Report 9to5 via Google. It presents the movies available in the stream and tells users whether to buy, rent or include them in a service.
