FIFA has made great strides in implementing the plan World Cup Every two years. Accordingly UOL Sport, President Gianni Infantino, a major promoter of change, based his argument on taking more teams to the finals and the possibility of more countries hosting them.

To this end, in addition to reducing the number of years between one World Cup and another, there will also be an increase in attendance. By 2022, it will still be in print with 32 choices, and by 2026 48 participants will already be in attendance. The idea is to bring in more members.

The second item draws the attention of the African Confederation, which has already shown support for the changes and supported it in the future Congress. In this way, 56 of the possible 211 votes will already be guaranteed.

In a short period of time, the Africans were delighted to have the opportunity to host the tournament again. It should be noted that in 2010 the tournament was held only in South Africa on this continent. Morocco failed in 2006, 2010 and 2026.

If approved, the World Cup will take place every two years after the 2026 World Cup, the first of its kind in the three countries. The venues will be the United States, Canada and Mexico.

In its current format, the two continents look set to host the event in 2030. FIFA is interested in South America, Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Europe and England and wants to expand into the United Kingdom, including Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland together. In addition, Portugal and Spain appear with a joint proposal.

Thus, if it is played every two years, the World Cup in 2028, the host Europe, the South American and South American nations in 2030 – Uruguay will host the 1930 World Cup – and the African and Chinese candidates selected in 2032 and 2034.
