An Indian-origin doctor, he has been named US President Joe Wyden’s Science and Technology Adviser. Aarti Prabhakar has been appointed. Aarti is the first woman immigrant to reach this position. Born in Delhi, Aarti was educated and raised in Texas.
He graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering in 1979 from the Texas University of Technology. Post Graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering in 1980. In 1984 he joined the California Institute of Technology for a PhD in Physics. Fellowship from the Office of Technology in 1984. He later became the Program Manager for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency. He later became the first director of the DARPA’s Office of Microelectronics Technology. During this time they started new projects in the field of technology.
In 1993, Aarti Prabhakar became the Head of the National Institutes of Standards and Technology. Aarti arrives in Silicon Valley from NIST. There he served as Reich’s senior vice president, chief technology officer, and interval research president. As part of his efforts, he again became the head of the DARPA.
The nonprofit organization was also launched in 2019. New experiments were also conducted on green technology. Aarti will replace Eric Lander, who resigned last February.
