In front of 74,600 spectators at the Millennium Cardiff, the trophy was lifted after two attempts by defending champions Irish Giordan Murphy and Austin Healy. When asked about Champions Cup rugby.com, Leicester captain Martin Johnson said: ” I always had the feeling that we were on top. It was one of those games where we had to win. There was no excitement at the end or anything like that, and winning the trophy again was even more comforting.»
