The Dragons made four late changes ahead of Saturday’s home Heineken Champions Cup draw with Wasp after two positive Kovid Tests.

Aaron Jarvis, Jonah Holmes, and back-row duo Louis Evans and Tain Basham arrived at XV, and many close relationships isolated themselves.

A Dragons statement reads: “After giving a full negative result earlier this week, two members of the team were tested again after symptoms and then tested positive.

“All subsequent public health Wales and government guidelines are being followed and individuals are currently being isolated.

“The Dragons have identified several members of the playing group as close associates, and they isolate themselves.”

The original launch XV featured Ashton Hewitt, Lloyd Fairbrother, Aaron Weinwright and Harrison KD, and Leon Brown and Matthew Schreich were set for bench spots.

For the first time since 2011, the Welsh region will play at the forefront of European competition.
