So, you may have already visited the most famous tourist destination on the island of Ireland, but did you know that there are many incredible and very close places that you will not miss during your journey to the scene?

So, we’ve put together a list of attractions near the Giants Causeway, all within 20 minutes drive. follow the leader !

Dunseveric Falls

Just 10 minutes drive from Giants Causeway, this small waterfall is not much to visit and is not easy to find as it is well hidden by the side of Causeway Road. The best way to get there is to follow the instructions on your GPS carefully, get out of the car even if you can’t see the waterfall, and ask a local for the exact coordinates!

Carrick-a-Net

Little is known about the Giants Causeway, and the site of the Carrick-a-Rede and its rope bridge attract thousands of visitors every year.

From our previous stop, Dunseveric Falls, the journey to Balintoy Harbor takes only 3 minutes by car. Once you arrive, you can take this suspension bridge and of course you can find soothing scenery if you have any left over after crossing!

The sidewalk is impassable in winter and will be closed in bad weather. But that doesn’t stop the strong attendance that passes through 250,000 tourists a year.

Balintoy Port

After visiting the bridge, you can reach the port of Balinto in just 5 minutes by car. At the same location, Balintoy Beach filmed the popular HBO series Game of Thrones. In the series, the place was renamed “Iron Island”.
